OUR PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

He completed his physiotherapy training (Bachelor of Applied Science- Physiotherapy) in 1989 at Cumberland College of Health Sciences, Sydney. Further training in Manipulative Physiotherapy (Graduate Diploma of Applied Science- Manipulative Physiotherapy) was completed at Sydney University in 1993. Steve is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia- Titled Member (MPA), the Private Practitioners Group (PPG) and Sports Medicine Australia (SMA). Steve is the practice principal and head clinician of Hunters Hill Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre and has extensive experience in sports, orthopaedic, spinal and general physiotherapy. With his further training in manipulative physiotherapy, Steve uses advanced clinical assessment and diagnosis methods and has a broader range of treatment techniques than many other health professionals. As a result, Steve is in a great position to improve your mobility, co-ordination, strength and overall fitness level.

Adrian Traeger completed his physiotherapy training in 2007 at Sydney University (Masters of Physiotherapy). He had already completed a Bachelor of Science (Health and Sport Science) with Class 1 Honours in 2005 at NSW University. Adrian is also a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). Adrian also works as physiotherapist for the St Joseph College Rugby teams. Adrian is heavily involved in physiotherapy research in an ongoing basis. Currently he is a treating therapist in a clinical trial looking at the effectiveness of a comprehensive exercise programme for whiplash associated disorders. The study is taking place over two states with funding from the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHRMC) and Motor Accidents Authority (MAA), and involves the most promising approach to whiplash we have seen in physiotherapy to date. Adrian utilises the most current and wide-ranging research to provide the highest level of effectiveness in his treatment of musculoskeletal disorders using physiotherapy and exercise techniques. Hunters Hill Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre is extremely fortunate to have Adrian on staff.
